Classes:

Digital Citizenship-In this class students explore the nine elements of digital citizenship.  They learn about positive ways to interact on the internet.  The class also has students reflect on how their digital life affects them.

8th Grade Language Arts-In this class students dive deeper into the themes of the novels the class reads.  Students are asked to read and reflect about the content they are reading.  Many of the novels read in 8th grade deal with World War 2 topics.  Students are also asked to write a lot in class.  They will be writing poems, informational essays, and descriptive essays.

7th Grade Language Arts-In this class students read novels out loud.  Students are asked to read and reflect about the content they are reading.  Many of the novels read in 7th grade deal with Native American topics.  Students are also asked to write a lot in class.  They will be writing poems, informational essays, and descriptive essays.

Teacher Biography

I’m Mrs. Rogers. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Coty.  We have a six year old daughter named Hunter and a two year old named Fischer.  We have two dogs, Lucy and Gatsby. I am excited to be teaching 7th and 8th grade language arts.  I can’t wait to spend a great year with you!
